Our Association
The Foundation Bureau of the Association of Saamaka Communities (Foundation Bureau VSG) was established on 22 April 2010 and was officially registered in the Public Foundations Register, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KFF) on 31 May 2010. On 8 December 2023, the foundation’s statutes were amended, and its name was changed from Foundation Bureau of the Association of Saamaka Authorities to Foundation Bureau of the Association of Saamaka Communities.
Our Team
The Association of Saamaka Communities (VSG) is led by an elected Board, supported by the Foundation Board of VSG and a committed team of staff members. Together, they work to strengthen traditional governance, protect collective rights, and advance the interests of the Saamaka people.
