Our mission is to promote awareness, advocate for the legal recognition of collective rights, strengthen the socio-economic well-being of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples, and protect our human rights through community empowerment, traditional governance, and supporting sustainable community development.
Vision
We envision a future where the collective rights of indigenous and tribal peoples are legally recognized and the VSG acts as a driving force connecting and supporting the Saamaka communities, breaking down barriers through mutual understanding and dialogue, and ensuring the sustainable management of the Saamaka territory.
